  1. I’ve enjoyed the 2016 Key Word Challenge–wrap-up post coming soon. My Favorite read for the challenge was House of Darkness by Allan MacKinnon. It was a surprise winner for me–I’d never read anything by MacKinnon before and had no idea what it would be like.

  2. I don’t read many adult books, I mostly just read to my sons…but I did read a lot of craft books on crochet and baby photography before I had my baby! The photography books were probably my favorite!

  3. In 2016 I took a break from reading my usual Amish romance books. Instead I decided to read the entire Bible cover to cover in a year. I read it in a little less than a year. I must say for me it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. So the Bible was my favorite read of 2016. Now in 2017 I have some catching up to do with my favorite authors.

  4. My favorite reads in 2016 were “The Paper Man” by Gallagher Lawson, “Monkey Business” by Landon Crutcher, and “Palestine” and “Footnotes In Gaza” by Joe Sacco.

  5. I really loved The Wolf Road by Beth Lewis this year. It sticks with me and I read it 6 months ago. I did a lot of reading this year when I was pregnant and I read quite a few books that I really enjoyed.
